A multimillion-dollar fraud uncovered by SPIEGEL in 1999 has become a global crime involving a vast fortune. At the center of the affair is the Principality of Liechtenstein.

On March 5, 2015, 13 days before his death, Israel Perry summoned a lawyer to his luxury high-rise apartment in Tel Aviv to dictate his will. The meeting is documented by video recordings and written records.
The will reads like a breathless ramble through the estate of a super-rich man: $40 million is to be given to one daughter, $70 million plus one of the office buildings in the City of London ("to be allocated by lot") to the other; jewels, jewelry, mansions, and an additional $70 million to $80 million are earmarked for the stubborn wife Lilly, who, regrettably, "has no intention of giving anything to her daughters."
